MUSIC MAVEN AGENCY is seeking college Juniors, Seniors, recent Graduates or Graduate students who want to work in the entertainment industry and enjoy events. This is a rewarding opportunity to jump start your career and increase your media and marketing skills.
This position is part-time, primarily telecommuting, with a flexible time schedule. Some face-to-face meetings and weekend availability is required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Developing and maintaining the company’s online presence

Ensuring brand consistency and frequent posting across all social media

Assisting with event planning and attending events to capture photo and video content

Writing copy and presenting ideas to the Creative Director

Researching music, social media and market trends
-
Communicating progress to the Creative Director on an ongoing basis
-
Assisting with additional marketing and media tasks as need
JOB REQUIREMENTS
-
A creative, innovative thinker with an impeccable work ethic

Some college education and strong interest in Social Media and Marketing
-
Experience with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, WordPress and new mediums
-
Excellent writing skills, verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Additional experience in Graphic Design; Adobe Creative Suite and/or web authoring a plus

Superior judgment; ability to handle confidential information and interact with high-profile individuals professionally

Ability to multi-task, while remaining detail-oriented and prioritizing tasks effectively

Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

Knowledgable about the Austin, TX market (media outlets, venues, market segments, sub-cultures, etc.)

Access to reliable transportation, a smart phone and computer
